For the amateur player, a multi-hundred dollar high-quality airsoft rifle is not entirely necessary.  We stock a wide variety of accurate, powerful, and durable airsoft rifles that cost under $100.

It is a good idea to keep a bottle of water on you if you are playing an extended game.  Dehydration can lead to inhibited ability, and in severe cases, hospitalization.  Water will usually suffice, but Gatorade or a similar sports drink can be more invigorating.

Always come prepared to an airsoft game with extra spare, loaded magazines.  In the heat of battle, even with a speed loader, it can be hard to manually reload a magazine.  It is much easier to just switch magazines and worry about filling up the previous one after the game.  Of course if you exhaust all your spares you will need to refill at least one of them, but if you take your shots carefully that shouldn’t be a problem.
