If you are wondering why you are stuck at a certain skill level in the game of airsoft, you need to ask yourself only one question: “How often do I play airsoft?” It is impossible to get better at anything if you do not engage in the activity on a frequent basis. This goes for intellectual pursuits as well, and in some ways, airsoft is a mixture of both smarts and physical prowess. Because of this, you have to work extra hard in learning the game.
It is not that hard to play often. Even if you cannot get a lot of people together, it is usually possible to find at least one person who is ready to play. As long as you have an area around that you can play at, it is not hard at all. However, if you have to drive a long ways in order to play, then it can be a little difficult to play often. Therefore, you should try hard to find a place to get some practice in!

It is very important when shopping for airsoft guns (or anything, really) to look around for awhile before making your final decision. I can think of countless cases (maybe not countless, but at least two) in which someone bought a gun and then a few days later was browsing around and found something better. In order to avoid this kind of disappointment, it is much better to take the time to shop around.
A good idea is to go through many of the categories that are available. Here at this website, we have many sections for all kinds of airsoft rifles. Therefore, even if you come into it thinking you want one kind of rifle, it may be better to get another.
You can usually make good decisions based on instinct, but by combining instinct with research, you can make the perfect decision that you will be happy with for a long time to come. That’s a lot better than having regrets, right?

If your airsoft gun has broken for one reason or another, you may want to repair it. By taking this course of action, you can save money on buying a new gun, and you can continue to use the same product that you may have developed a personal relationship with. I know some people think it is kind of odd to have a connection to an inanimate object, but when you really think about it, a lot of others do it and it is perfectly natural.
In order to get your gun repaired, you can send it back to the manufacturer, and they may repair it for you if it is still under warranty. Otherwise, you can take it to an airsoft shop, and depending on the nature of the damage, they may be able to fix it for you.
Sometimes it is not worth it to have your gun fixed. This is especially the case with cheap guns, or maybe an airsoft gun that you have had for many years. When these kinds of guns break, it is often just better to buy a new one, rather than continue its lifespan.

If you are in the market for a new airsoft rifle, one of the pertinent questions that is going to arise is how much you should pay. In short, you should pay whatever the price is listed as on this website, ha ha… But seriously, we do not take it offensively if you want to shop around. That is what a smart consumer should do, and although we have great prices on hundreds of products, we can’t possibly beat our competitors on everything.
By checking a variety of airsoft retailers, you will eventually land on one that has a lower price than another. There are some exceptions to this rule, however. Some products, like Classic Army rifles, have a minimum price that retailers can charge for the products, as this eliminates all kinds of price differentiation marketing. At EastCoastAirsoft, all products that have a minimum advertised price (MAP), we charge at that price. Therefore, you will never find a site that charges a lower price, and if you do, then they are not playing by the rules, and they could lose their contract with the company.
Also, keep in mind that some of what goes into price covers other expenses of the company. If you pay more for an item, you are probably going to get it faster and with better customer service. Because of our company size, we can afford to charge lower prices while delivering superb service, so you do not have to settle for anything.

Here at EastCoastAirsoft, we carry many different variant airsoft rifles. Rifles can be distinguished based on their type or what they are modeled after (the variant). For example, there are AK Variants, M16 Variants, AUG Variants, etc. That is only a few of the options that you have to choose from, and there are definitely several other examples that come to mind when thinking about the numbers of variants out there.
So if you want to figure out what kind of variant you should get, you should look through them all. Most variants are of roughly the same caliber, meaning that they can all perform almost equally well. The only exception would be the M16 variants, which are usually much stronger than other types because a lot of them come from Classic Army. Other than those, most of the remaining ones are about the same when it comes to performance.
Therefore, the most important factor is appearance. You probably can think of a lot of people who like the looks of an AK-47, and thus would want that kind of airsoft rifle. While this is a popular choice, it is dwarfed when you look at all the people who choose other variants, including MP5s and G36s.

As you may or may not know, the chief focus of EastCoastAirsoft is on selling airsoft rifles. That’s why we have so many categories for different variants of rifles, and only one section for pistols. Do not get me wrong, airsoft pistols are definitely important, but it is also arguable that airsoft rifles are even more important! This is because the majority of players use rifles as their primary weapon, while pistols function as a backup.
Here at EastCoastAirsoft, we have airsoft rifles that are perfect for any level of player, from pick-up to professional. By focusing on a specific area of the airsoft market, we can better serve that market’s specific needs. In this case, the focus is on airsoft rifles, and operations have been going quite well under this strategy.
If you have any suggestions about any products that we should carry, or just have a comment about anything else, feel free to give our number (found on the home page) a call, and we will serve you as we have served hundreds of others in the past.

Before buying a sniper rifle, you have to think about if you truly need one. Many people prematurely decide to become snipers, and then spend a lot of money on one, before thinking about what the job entails. Being a sniper is not like other positions. You are not constantly moving around, in the heat of battle and experiencing constant excitement. Instead, you stay in one place for most of the time, picking your shots carefully and staying away for the line of sight of your enemies. Most snipers are drawn to the position because of just this fact; the ability to attack your enemies without them seeing you.
However, if you like being out there where most of the action is, then being an airsoft sniper is not for you. Do not be discouraged though, sniping can be really fun, and it is always good to see the look on someone’s face when they get hit and do not know where it came from. You can increase your efficacy by utilizing other kinds of sniper accessories as well, such as ghillie suits and other types of camouflage gear.
That is all there is for my airsoft sniping guide. If you have any other questions, just send me an email at justin@eastcoastairsoft.com. I am sure I will be able to help with whatever questions you have!

While spring airsoft sniper rifles do have the potential to be quite powerful, the strongest rifles are those that are powered by gas. Whatever kind of gas you choose to use, any of them can overcome the power of a spring rifle. This is because chemicals like green gas and carbon dioxide, when compressed to a certain degree, are inherently better than physical mechanisms that push out the pellets.
The thing about gas sniper rifles is that they are a lot more expensive, and then of course you need to also consider the cost of the gas. Since you fire much more infrequently than with other airsoft guns, the gas is not much of an issue (I have talked about this before, it is important!) Despite their extra cost, these kinds of rifles are a great buy, and will deliver a lot of success to you over the years.
It is also important to realize that not all sniper rifles come with scopes. In fact, the majority of them come with very few accessories. The number one thing that people think of when it comes to sniper rifles is a scoped rifle, so it is kind of a drag that most rifles do not actually have one. However, there is also somewhat of an upside to this. By not including a scope with the sniper, you have the ability to choose the perfect scope that you want, instead of being forced to have the one that came with the sniper. You might be thinking, “Then I have to pay more money!”, but the cost of the sniper would have been more if it had the scope with it. Therefore, if you want a scope, you really are not paying much more than if the scope had been included.
As you can see, there is a fair amount that you have to consider when it comes to sniper rifles. There is even more, though, which I will cover in Part Three of this sniper rifle series.

Even if you have never used an airsoft sniper rifle before, you may have had thoughts about becoming a sniper, or at least owning this kind of airsoft gun. If you do not have experience in this area, it is alright; this article is here to help you make a quality purchasing decision.
First, you need to know what you are going to be using the rifle for. If you are only going to be using it for target practice, then you do not need to invest a lot of money into the product. There are plenty of cheap spring sniper rifles that you can use for this purpose.
Do not get me wrong, many sniper rifles that utilize spring power are quite expensive and very powerful. It is all about the level of spring rifle that you get, though. Some rifles do not pack as much power into their springs as others, and thus they are less expensive. If you are not going to be using the sniper rifle for airsoft games, then this is the kind of sniper rifle for you.

There are many strategies into which an airsoft pistol fits quite nicely. In fact, some situations warrant the use of a pistol, including some close quarters situations. While there are airsoft rifles designed for close quarters combat, it is a lot more fluid to utilize an airsoft pistol, as you can move around more freely and can aim easier. That is only one example of when a pistol can be useful, and even in larger areas, it has a place.
Even in video games, the advice is when you run out of ammunition in a heated battle situation, it is better to switch to your sidearm, as it is faster to do than reloading. You can do the same thing in airsoft. As long as you have a strong airsoft pistol, you can use it in place of your rifle when it runs out of ammunition. Of course, you will eventually have to reload both airsoft guns, but you can do this once you find a safe place to lay low for a minute or so.
For you to use a pistol efficiently, you obviously need to have a quality product. A regular spring pistol won’t do you very well in an airsoft game where mostly automatic guns are being used, so if you have an electric or gas pistol, you should be fine.
