I must say, this has been one of the best Black Fridays yet.  There was one three years ago that is still the best, but this is a close two and in some ways was better than the first Black Friday (but that one will always be the best!)  This year I got some new shoes, a new watch, some new pants, got to hang out with friends who I hadn’t seen in awhile, ate some great food, relaxed a lot and did some work.  On top of it all, there were quite a few sales today on the site.  Hopefully things will be even better on Cyber Monday!

I love the holidays so much, mainly because it gives me a little something to write about for multiple days at a time.  Lined up for almost the next week is this post, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, the day after Small Business Saturday (that one I made up) and Cyber Monday.  So be prepared to see a barrage of similarly-themed posts in the next few days, and have a great night heading into Thanksgiving!

A new line of futuristic facemasks are coming your way, and they are such a huge step up from the masks of the past.  When I’ve played paintball and airsoft, the one thing I never liked was how foggy and hot it gets inside the mask.  By utilizing a mesh system, you get full ventilation with the same amount of protection you expect and need from an airsoft mask.  Best of all, these are on the same price level as regular masks, so you will be able to afford them without a problem.

I find it necessary to have a reminder at least a few times a month to check out the EastCoastAirsoft Facebook page.  There is a lot of awesome stuff that you can learn there, not to mention a ton of great contests!  I promise if you check in every now and then, you’ll see something of value eventually.

I just want to let you guys know I am very close to finishing the uploading for all new images in the various product categories.  It has been a fun ride and frankly I will be quite disappointed when the job is finished, but that just means I have to cherish these last few moments of upload heaven.  Of course, the final benefit will be gained by all you great customers, who now will be able to navigate the website in a much more happy and inviting environment.

This is quite a historic day.  11/11/11.  Never again in our lives (unless technology extends our lifespans hundreds of years) will we see such a cool looking date.  Cherish these last few minutes of this day, because it’s not going to come back around again anytime soon!

I can’t stress how important it is to keep up with the EastCoastAirsoft Facebook page.  It is packed with high-quality information, and most importantly, contests!  You can’t win if you don’t play, and considering how easy it is to play, there’s really no excuse for not participating.  And even if you don’t win, it may just be the most fun you’ve ever had in your entire life!  Perhaps that is an exaggeration, but for theoretical purposes, it is not.

I am proud to say that we have yet more new products in stock.  Variety and quality choice has been increasing for some time now and it is proving to be appreciated by our customers.  One die-hard individual recently purchased the Socom Gear CHEYTAC M200, which is arguably the best airsoft sniper rifle in the world.  I would not like to be on the other team of that guy.  Besides that, there are new gas airsoft pistols and AEGs, so even if you’re not trying to spend $1,425 on a sniper rifle, there’s still something for you.
