When playing airsoft, it is clear that you need to have some consideration for the environment. Mainly, that is in regards to the pellets that are left out on the ground after a game. Think about it; with a lot of people playing, you are going to have thousands of pellets peppered throughout the ground. Continue Reading

This is something that very rarely is discussed in airsoft. After all, the focus is usually on what gun to use or how to make the most of a specific strategic situation. But what to eat? It seems like it might not be that important, but think about it. Continue Reading

I’ve spoken about this issue before and I will again, because I have some new thoughts on the issue. As you know, there are two main types of airsoft guns; gas and electric. There are also spring rifles of course, but these are not as prevalent on the battlefield as the other two, unless you start to count sniper rifles. You may know that gas is definitely more powerful than electric Continue Reading

There are many situations that you are bound to face which will require a significant amount of effort and thought to get through with success. One of the most well known pickles is the classic image of a lone man surrounded by the enemy with seemingly no way out. Continue Reading

Airsoft is a relatively new sport that is continuing to evolve, and there is no telling what the future holds for it. From just the few things I have read about what is to come, it is pretty cool. One of the things have been hybrid airsoft guns, which are advanced products that function like real guns because they use shells. Obviously they are still much less powerful and use plastic pellets, but nonetheless they are cool. Continue Reading

It may not be officially summer yet (at least I’m pretty sure it’s not), but it’s definitely getting there. The weather is warm, spiders are everywhere, and the local high school near me just got out. Don’t worry, I’m not in high school though, but I still have to deal with the chaos caused from the locals not being contained by that institution.
Getting more to the business aspect of things, this is the perfect time to buy a brand new airsoft rifle for the summer. We have tons of great products, and even if you already have a good gun, you could always use another. After all, this is America, where we dream about bottomless bags of popcorn and horde more money than a reclusive oil tycoon.

Airsoft is an exciting game because there is inherently a lot of variety in it. Every game has different situations, so you have to play each one in a unique way. However, if you do not take actions to increase the variety that you experience, it is possible for airsoft to get somewhat duller.
One thing you can do is change up the airsoft gun you use. This can be as simple as changing the brand you buy from, or actually switching from using one type of gun to another. By doing this, you really change the way that you play, and it makes the game a lot more exciting.
Another tactic you can use is changing where you play. If you play at the same place every time, then you will really have a lot more fun if you go somewhere else. Since there are many places that you can play airsoft in, especially forests, it should not be too difficult to find a different playing ground.

The few times that I have been out to an official field for airsoft and paintball, I noticed that there was no music to go along with the game. Now I realize that many times this is impractical, and I will not go into all the times that it would be, but there definitely would be occasions where music could be good. After all, it is an energizing vibration that can increase the intensity to which everybody gets into the game, so I think it could work out well.
I’m not sure if this has been tried or not before, but I’m sure that it has. I would like to see some statistics about what games were like with and without music. If we at EastCoastAirsoft ever get a field up, this is something that I would love to try. Well, that is years off, so no point in thinking that far ahead.

I have come to see just how hand and hand nature and airsoft go. When you play airsoft in nature, there is a certain natural feeling to it, and it feels as if nature is helping you achieve your goals. It provides trees to hide behind, and strong terrain to run on. Of course, this is the case for everyone who is playing, so it is not like you actually have an advantage from these factors.
The way that you can have an advantage, however, is to become one with nature, and use it to a better extent than everyone else around you. With the power of nature, you can achieve literally anything, and since airsoft is important to all of us, why not use it to to succeed in this sport?
So how can you use nature to a fuller extent? First, be aware of where you are playing, and all the subtleties of the terrain. More importantly, and on a deeper level, learn to “feel” nature and use its energy to help you. This is extremely abstract, but if you are able to ever figure out exactly what I mean, then you will become very powerful indeed.
